What is a CO2 Fractional Laser?

The CO2 Fractional Laser uses ablative energy via short pulses of light energy, known as ultrapulse, or continuous light beams delivered to the skin.

What is it used for?

This method has used as the traditional way to treat many skin issues – wrinkles, scars, warts, open pores, etc. It is a tried and tested way of skin resurfacing, effectively reducing acne scars and open pores with minimal heat damage.

Is it safe?

Yes, this treatment is very safe.

Is it painful?

Numbing cream would be applied before the treatment, providing you with an almost pain-free experience.

Will there be downtime?

There is a downtime of 5 – 7 days. You will experience a redness in the face for 3 – 4 days after the treatment, and then a peeling of the skin.

During this period it’s best to avoid make-up and apply ample amounts of moisturiser. Also, do avoid prolonged exposure to the sun for about a week or two.
